Millennium Buildings offers three key roof styles to choose from depending on budget, needs, and local weather conditions: vertical roof, boxed eave, and regular. While similar in A-frame rooflines, the major difference between the three styles is the orientation of the panels.
Boxed eave roofs have the same shape as vertical roofs, but with horizontal roof panels and no hat channel or ridge cap for that added stability. This style allows you to match your home’s roofline but at a lower price point than vertical roofs.
Boxed eave carport roofs are recommended in areas with lower precipitation levels and low to moderate winds.
Boxed Eave Roof Uses
Boxed eave roofs are excellent, budget-friendly options for carports, barns, garages, sheds and more. Open-sided carports can be converted into either fully or partly-enclosed spaces down the road simply by adding panels to the sides.
Customization Options
Size: We offer boxed eave roofs from 12′ – 30′ wide, up to 16′ tall, and as long as necessary. If you require a unit longer than 36′, we can install it by connecting two units end-to-end, although leaks can occur at the seams.
When considering size, it is important to keep in mind that the slight overhang on the ends of the roof will cause the roof to extend past the base of the building.
